Nov 2017: PACSMail Cloud finds its place in Knee Surgery

PACSMail Cloud allows secure on-line collaboration by teams of clinicians that need to operate across both organisational and geographic boundaries.

Initially developed for use in wide area radiology reporting, PACSMail Cloud is now increasingly used in sports and orthopaedic surgery where the ability to share scans and associated reports quickly plays an important role in treatment and rehabilitation management.  The platform also provides the ability for collection, storage and on-line review of diagnostic images in multi-centre research.

Commenting at the recent 2017 Sports Knee Course organised by Clockwork Medical, Consultant Orthopaedic & specialist knee surgeon Adrian Wilson saidimaging is playing an ever-increasing role in surgery - so systems like PACSMail Cloud, which provide the ability to share scans and reports on-line with colleagues, make a significant contribution to our ability to deliver the best possible outcomes for patients”.

PACSMail Cloud’s next appearance will be at the Basingstoke Annual Knee Osteotomy Masterclass, where delegates will be able to sign up for a free trial of the PACSMail Cloud service.
